Private, Tailor-Made Journeys in Campania

Start in the streets of Naples, spend time with an ancient city, or stay a little longer on the way to the Cilento. Eva can help you decide which part of Campania deserves most of your time.

A way into the region

Give Naples a story of its own

A day in Naples can begin with a cloister, a neighbourhood or the objects that came out of Pompeii. Follow the story that makes you curious and leave room for the streets, conversations and time at the table around it.

Places to begin

What would bring you here?

Start with an idea that makes you curious. Eva can shape the stops and the pace around your group and the time you have.

01 · Neighbourhoods and art

Naples, a few streets at a time

Start with the majolica cloister at Santa Chiara and see how the city changes once you step back outside. Eva can suggest a route through the historic centre or give the day a different focus in another neighbourhood. Tell her whether you want more art, more street life or more time for lunch.

02 · Archaeology

Pompeii or Herculaneum?

Choose the ancient city according to what you want to see and how much ground you want to cover. Pompeii opens up the scale of a city. Herculaneum can focus attention on houses, rooms and details of daily life. Give one site the time it deserves, or split them across different days.

Paestum and a slower Cilento

Give the temples at Paestum a visit of their own. If you have more time, use the next day to follow a different thread into the Cilento, whether that means a coastal village, a meal built around local produce or a quieter base for a few nights.

Before you decide

Finding your pace

Does it make sense to start from Naples?

It can, especially if the city and a Vesuvian site are your priorities. For Paestum or the Cilento, tell Eva how many days you have and she can help you weigh up where to stay.

How much walking should we plan for?

The route changes with the site, the weather and your group. Tell Eva about mobility needs, children’s ages and how long you like to spend on foot.

Can I include the Amalfi Coast?

Yes, it can be part of the conversation. Tell Eva whether you want to give the coast a stay of its own or use a day to focus on one place.
